The 4th Annual Super Jake & Friends Heroes Bash to benefit The Super Jake Foundation was a tremendous success! More than 200 heroes -- including at least a dozen Batmen and Batgirls, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America, The Hulk, Mighty Mouse, and the entire Justice League, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Spiderman -- turned out to support our great cause.
Thanks to the generosity of "the Incredible Hulk" who donated $7,500 and an anonymous donor who pledged to match the monies raised from the live auction ($8,550), we'll be well over our goal of raising more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS for The Super Jake Foundation.
Whether you attended the event, donated auction items, volunteered that night, sent in a financial contribution or all of the above, you played an important part in making this event an amazing success and in helping us to reach our goal. Thank you!
Raising $1 million in just over three years as a completely volunteer-run nonprofit foundation is a tremendous accomplishment and we couldn't do it without the support and generosity of each and every one of you.
Special, special thanks to Dawn Ludden for chairing the event this year and to the 40+ volunteers who planned the event and turned out that night to make it happen!
If you know someone who would still like to contribute, it's not too late. We'll still be accepting birthday gifts for Jake/Bash donations through the end of November and general support for The Super Jake Foundation through the end of the year. Click here for more Bash photos.

She had many friends and was poised to have a wonderful senior year in high school. That was before she was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma at age 17, just prior to her senior year at Wheaton North High School in 2002. Read More....
